We went to Lark today to read with our Kindergarten buddies for the first time today. We will be trying to do this once a month so they can form a bond with our buddies. They had a great time today. The kindergartners really like having us come to their room and they really look up to the third graders.
Keith had such a good time! Mark and I agree this is such a great learning experience for them. Keith has also learned how important and respectful it is to listen....He came home and was so disappointed because he said, "sometimes they don't even listen, Mom"! Was a good opportunity remind him how people notice when you don't recognize their efforts. Also, just another example of how those little ones are still working on developing their attention spans:)He is looking forward to going again! Happy Thanksgiving!!
